Here is another PR from issues you mentioned in #44 I've tried implementing GitHub Actions including the system dependency on units.

I don't think it should work before you accept it though :/

Thanks for pushing this! I pulled your edits and updated it to the most recent script of the usethis package. dependency on 'units' seems to work fine.
Now resubmitted to CRAN.
