global bioregion maps #29

howard suggested we add some global-wide bioregion maps to the tool to demonstrate the variances from focusing on the various parameters.

might get mike to create global maps that focus on each of the four parameters: precipitation, temp, vegetation, (and maybe size)

-- there is a chance we will forgo all data layers in the end since they cover up the shapes anyway...

wouldn't take much time to load once they are created.

although it's worth noting this would require time from Mike (creating the layers) and also from Jon for generating display.
also seems worth noting that the transparency issues have yet to be resolved...

no viewable data layers will be added to the tool. we may however, provide some pre-rendered shapes either publicly shared, or provided to the individual attendees...
