Scenario 1:
let anyone create a bioregion (without logging in) -- wouldn't have any of the functionality that logged in users have, other than creating and viewing a single bioregion.
Scenario 2:
provide a 'temporary login' option at start-up (either register, sign in, or use temp login). this would enable users to create, edit, export multiple bioregions without having to register. this log in would be a one time only deal (unique, single-use, account created whenever a user visits the site and requests a temp login). could even imagine an option after they are logged into the temporary account of creating a permanent account and their data being ported over to this new account.
