Duplicate Feature: Accordion vs. (new) Modal #2

With the upgrade to v2.6.5, clicking on record titles opens a modal with further information about the record, very similar to the information we report in our 'accordion' solution.

Do we:

Keep the new modal along with our accordion (weird)
Disable the modal, and keep on keeping on, or
Undo the accordion, adding the features we like to the new record modal?
