Template should:

Link Azure Analysis Services with the Production ODS database
Include an Azure Function to refresh AAS data from the underlying ODS
Include Azure Automation to schedule on/off time for AAS, to save deployment costs (nice to have)

A requirement of CODS-206 is to integrate the Analytics installer as an option during the CODS installation. There are some credentials and information that are captured during the CODS installation that can (and should) be shared with the Analytics installer:

SQL Server Connection String - This needs to get injected into the .xmla as the data source prior to deploying the data model to the AAS server.

[~Malagari] As discussed with [~goodmanmd] in the last status meeting, we do not want to integrate the analytics installer as an option in the Cloud ODS deployment - so this ticket (and related ones) should move to the Analytics project. Is is semantics at some point, but we want to keep the Cloud ODS offering distinct from a variety of analytics offerings

Thanks [~Chris.Moffatt], will do. I was under the wrong understanding that the Analytics installer would be offered as an option during the Cloud ODS installation, thus allowing certain parameters to be passed between the two. This doesn't impact any of the existing (or current) work, so I'll simply move these tickets under BIA-3.
