It looks like something has changed in the repository configuration around 2 months ago (enabled branch protection on main?), and since then all runs of the gen_fingerprints workflow have been failing, resulting in a drift between the information in the README and the JSON fingerprints.
If you have enabled branch protection on main, I believe the solution would be to create a PAT with public_repo permissions and use that in the checkout step of your workflow so that it's used later on when pushing. Could you look into this please?
