[FEATURE] Use project with typescript #83

Description

In case we need to deal with different DTOs it might make sense to migrate the project to Typescript, for improving the development process

No objection to using TS. I have limited production experience using it, but have taken some courses and planned on using it more in the future for work so as far as contributing/maintaining would be fine. Lots of good arguments for TS in general.

I also think it's not that urgent currently, I just want to put it on the table as a reminder in the future :D
