Additional Context

Hi Eddie,

First I found about this community through Twitter. (saying "Florin Pop and Traversy Media Follows"). Then when I am searching about open source, this is the community I found many times in twitter threads.

I am a learner in this field. Not being from the software field, I am learning a lot of things. After self learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript (still learning) I made some projects. First to complete freecodecamp certification. Then to complete Udemy course of 50 Project in 50 Days series of Florin Pop and Brad Traversy. I am learning more by making projects.

I think now is the time to start contributing in open source. It will surely teach me a lot about many things like how actual project work, how to collaborate with others, many new techniques and what not. Also lots of other things which I don't even know yet. It will be great to be a part of team where I can learn and give my contribution to it at the same time.

I am on GitHub, Codepen and Hashnode with user name: SoniBasant

Invitation sent to join the GitHub Organisation. Welcome to the community 🎉

Don't forget after accepting to make it public so it appears on your GitHub profile for everyone else to see. You can do this by finding your name in the GitHub organisation list and change the dropdown to public https://github.com/orgs/EddieHubCommunity/people

Tips for practising:

Customise your GitHub profile, here is a course on that: https://www.eddiejaoude.io/course-github-profile-landing
Practice repo, instructions on how to add your name to the README https://github.com/EddieHubCommunity/hacktoberfest-practice
Remember contributing to open source is not just about code, it's about collaboration, communication and adding value
I hope that helps

It's great having you contribute to this project

Welcome to the community

If you would like to continue contributing to open source and would like to do it with an awesome inclusive community, you should join our Discord Server and our GitHub Organisation - we help and encourage each other to contribute to open source little and often 🤓 . Any questions let us know.
