"make clean" is failing for me on the develop branch. The problem seems to be an attempt to comment out line 27 of documentation/man/Makefile, which is confusing make. I can work around the problem by just deleting that line on my local copy, but am reporting it as an issue because I'm not clear that that's the right permanent fix.
