Hey @EddyVerbruggen. I have a commercial license and I have mailed you with more details regarding this merge. Actually, this is required in order to use the latest Cordova-android version, without it, the plugin doesn't work.

Hi guys, I've merged the PR and noticed it broke cordova-android < 7. So I've fixed that and now we support any version. A release is imminent. Thanks for the help! 👍
