Currently the puppetmaster will be placed on an enemy's hate table after using deploy or deactivate when the automaton used an ability that does not claim (attachments, spells or ranged attacks). When using deactivate after the automaton uses a non-claiming ability, the mob should not go after the puppetmaster.
This is 100% correct, the mob should not come after the puppetmaster after a puppet action and deactivation. This strategy could be used to get past the 4 pots in sea, but does not work here ;(
