I moved the zsh file to home folder maybe this works has not been tested will do tomorrow How to test change the absolute path to an relative path in the i3 config of binsym $mod+w

solved in commit e9f0626 anything added in environment.variables is run before any shell exists therefore every shell inherits the setting set in environment.variables
