Sharing a receiver from one transmitter to another should register the ACCESS receiver with the second transmitter. This should allow switching between both transmitters by selecting bind when powering the receiver without the need to use the bind button. This is the current behavior with OpenTX.
Current Behavior
Sharing the receiver does not consistently work with the sharing process not being recognized consistently. Once the receiver has been bound to the new controller, it is not possible to switch between the two transmitters by powering while bind is running on one of the transmitters. The original transmitter will sometimes be able to re-bind but this is not consistent.
To Reproduce
Register receiver to the first transmitter by holding down the button while powering on and selecting register.
Bind the receiver to the first transmitter by selecting bind and then powering on the receiver.
Select the receiver and select share from the receivers menu while a second transmitter is powered on.
The second receiver should have a pop up to choose the shared receiver. (This does not always happen.)
Attempt to switch between the first and second transmitters by using bind while plugging in the receiver.
Hardware
This was discovered using A Horus X10s transmitter with R9 ACCESS module and an X-Lite Pro transmitter using the R9M Lite Pro ACCESS module.
are you sure that your ownerid is on both radios the same?
On my side it works fine with internal ISRM Horus X10 Express and Taranis QX7S ACCESS, both with the same ownerid.
