Documentation: MEI versions

Do we need any documentation or clarifications about which MEI versions are supported? Edirom Editor currently exports MEI 2012. What about manually preparing MEI 2013 files?

In FreiDi we use MEI 2013 and so far did non encounter problems... So yes, maybe this should be documented. Please consider:

• there are no explicit tests against a file's MEI version in Edirom Online
• the XML will always be stored in eXist-db and available through the XML View
• All Views and features of Edirom Online are operated through XQueries or XSLTs that only consider the mei namespace, which is stable throughout versions
• the major thing that could happen is that there is no rendering implementation for some "new" MEI feature

We should publish the schemata or even better the corresponding ODD files and first make sure that these are as restricted as possible. The ODD would allow to generate MEI schema files based on any MEI version.
