It is sharing a code base with the TEI's OxGarage and offers a convenient interface to common tasks for music encoding data, both through Web and REST interfaces. It offers conversion between different formats and customization of the MEI Schema.

in pom.xml: e.g. 0.4-SNAPSHOT are all the different before the release of the 0.4, which would not be a snapshot anymore, but a released version
name of the artifacts in GitHub actions (relevant for e.g. nigthly.link downloads): artifact.zip containing a jar or war without the version in the name (e.g. meigarage.war)
name of war or jar in releases: contain the version number after name (ege-webclient-0.3.war)
