small fixes and some docs #4

Hi there,

We've successfully deployed this module for use with our Confluence environment -- thank you very much!

We had to make some minor changes to the pom.xml file as well as one of the Java files for everything to compile correctly.

In addition, we added an INSTALL doc that might help others.
