Not sure, third party apps can get this data already from the Wikidata already (such as OsmAnd). I think it could be too much to add wikipedia=, wikidata= and wikimedia_commons=*
The wikipedia=, wikidata= and wikimedia_commons=* additional tags are already in use on OSM. The value in including and keeping in sync on OSM is more than just "access" from a query.
Additional considerations:
Verification of existing Wikidata - Wikimedia_commons tag values - there are over 90k uses and looks to be growing exponentially https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/wikimedia_commons The Wikipedia tag has over 1.2 Million uses - https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/wikipedia
If there is a goal of promoting linking OSM and Wikidata, we should be looking on how to provide back value as much as gain from the linking to have broad interests attracted to osm.wiki.link and these tag checks build upon the foundation of Wikidata linking, but also adds QA and completion of tagging to related tags off the Wikidata match.
This is an interesting idea. We can make it a user option, like adding wikipedia
tags.
OSM can benefit fruther from the Wikidata match by also leveraging the WikiData item match to add the corresponding WikiCommons Category to Key:wikimedia_commons if such category is present on the matched Wikidata ID.
Mechanism would likely rely upon users of OSM.Wiki.link being shown the commons category link in the UI for an associated match to review before linking or changing in case the Commons was mislinked or of the wrong scope. For which an adjustment to the WikiCommons category may be suggested.
