going well bd 2 has the refusal to overcall 2 clubs #343

so south has a clear 2 club overcall even Jec would probably have bid this. Looking at what our follow up bids mean over 2 spades we can see there is a problem and that is why we refuse to overcall. 2NT is 17+ 3 clubs the same. So we can't actually bid anything even with another ace.

2 spades is obviously mad too with a flat 7 HCP. try making it 11.

for example I just started jack vs epbot and hand one was this image 4 imps to jack.

I am OK with a bit conservative overcalls, but we have seen WBridge5 score a lot of imps being light when overcalling - And will probably continue to be, until we can take advantage of the light overcalls,

Still no 2c image At least with a manual 2c the rest of the bidding is ok image
