4d seems not good. I follow this rule: when partner bids a 5+M on 3level and I cannot bid 3nt (no stopper) I raise to 4M also with doubleton. Not perfect but practical.

Note that 3S is defined as a fitbid, then 4D is right. Fine with 3S as fitbid, but I still prefer 2S(Forcing)/4S
