3S is slammish, and should not be minimum. 3C is minimum, so slam is not in scope. #568

Using SAYC, South goes crazy image 4H as a splinter could be an idea

Using 2/1 image North is not even gameforcing

Based on simulation BEN think the hand is worth 2C

2/1 can't bid 2c having 1N. Sayc - after 2C slam is possible 1B8D739B3732F592BDBBE719CC52 image

The problem is that you should only bid 1N with 12 if balanced (not 5332).

Another simple rule is, that if you would open the hand, you should probably not bid 1N.
