1: Mixed raise is wrong here as East want to play 4S 2: X is good diamonds, but the clubs vanish https://bridgewinners.com/article/view/bidding-problem-2-6twlh2r6rt/ 3: Using XX for showing extra should be much more than just an opening hand. It should be slammish. Here 4S seems very right

If East bid 4S as wanted, South has an obvious 5C. image At least that is what almost all other players did image
