A common rule is that with an openinghand after partners overcall you should start by cuebidding opponents suit.

Description of 3C is fine, but the hand does not match

Interesting GIB did not bid even 3C, but WBridge5 did bid the expected 2D

Also interesting, that East (if North open 1C) prefer to overcall 1D with 4450, indeed a strange bid, when X shows the hand perfectly

8635 does not bid 2c. But when forced to, north answers with 3c. Description says it's 6-9 bit north has 12.
