What happened? What did you expect to happen?

The Part Configurer does not work on buttons. You also cannot load a configured button, as it will give you the default.

How can we reproduce this bug?

Just spawn a button in studio and access the Part Configurer. Then, make any edit you need to using the Configuration instance inside the part. The changes made will not be applied when the model is loaded.

@madgarry105 The MBTools UIs have not been updated to work correctly on components. You need to modify the configuration inside of the button components.

For existing models use Tools > Migrate Components with the model or parts selected.
