Why are you making your suggestion?

Currently, signs are kindof limited. Theres only one material they come in, and i cannot put faces directly onto my parts.

What do you propose? What should change, or what should be added?

Add a sign component. The sign component would simply just show text or a decal like a sign, but on any part you want! additionally, it might be nice to be able to choose the side the sign is shown on.

For now I don't think this makes sense and I don't want to implement it, but, I am not outright rejecting it at the moment. I will consider it in the future.
