Thanks to the introduction of the chatbox, users are able to send visible textboxes above their avatar to communicate with other users. Since the chatbox is exposed over OSC, some users have already been using it to display information such as heartrates and "now playing" notifications. This doesn't appear to be the intended use, but the lack of moderation of it has made it regular enough in some communities that rules have been made for it.
It may be against the code of conduct for some communities, as well as official public instances, but in others it's an acceptable practice. Adequate warning should be given before the feature is enabled.
