I just installed this with L Connect 3 using the AL V2 fan controller and I had the same. All channels work but channel 4. Fortunately I only have 3 channels populated
Hi @EightB1ts,
I'm also experiencing this same issue. I was wondering if you might have some time to take a look at it or offer any insights into why this might be happening? I’m keen to troubleshoot it myself, and any guidance you could provide would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
In the end I got so fed up with hubs, proprietary software and various limitations that I removed the lian Li hub completely, drove the fans directly from my motherboard's PWM and RGB headers and controlled happily everything with fancontrol and OpenRGB. So I fear I cannot help you much.

I think I will do the same, but only for the 4th fan group, since my motherboard doesn't have enough ARGB headers. Thanks for the reply, though!
I'm experiencing the exact same issue with channel4 as previous posters in this thread.
What makes this interesting is that I built two identical PCs side by side, have done identical OS installations and now tried to install FanControl+plugin on both - first PC detects all channels and functions without issues, but the second experiences the channel4 issue.
Any ideas how this could be resolved?

Wow, that's very interesting 🧐
Just an idea for everyone who has this problem, what I ended up doing is not using any PWM/ARGB slots on my motherboard and instead merging the top 3 fans with 1 back fan using the adapter included with the SL-INF controller. The one that allows you to connect the 5th fan group. It basically splits one controller channel into two groups of fans. The downside of course being that the two fan groups that you merge can't be controlled individually. But I always had the same curve and RGB settings for these two groups, so in my case there was no downside.
Quick update to my situation: I had also L-Connect3 installed during some firmware updates so what resolved the issue for me was uninstalling both FanControl and L-Connect3 (using Revo Uninstaller) and then installing only FanControl again. Now both machines are able to control all fans.
(Although this time around the 4th Fan showed up as an individual fan and the "Channel 4" is still unresponsive - but whaever, I'm happy now that I can control all 4 groups individually, no matter what the default title says)
I have 9 fans connected to my controller as follows:
Ch#1: 3 fans Ch#2: 3 fans Ch#3: 2 fans Ch#4: 1 fan
I can pair correctly Channels # 1 to # 3 m but I get an error message on Ch#4 that the fan control is not associated to any sensor. However by trying and installing L-Connect temporarily and setting manually the speed for channel # 4, that is responsive, and it shows up the correct reading for channel # 4 in the FanControl application

Should I try something else? Please advise
