This issue will serve as a scratch pad for tasks required to build a giant
laser (for the purpose of destroying the comet in one mode)

Construction of a Laser:
- power source: some type of light generator
- laser medium: some type of focusing substance
- optical resonator: mirror set for optic feedback
--- one highly refletive mirror: rear end of laser
--- one partially reflective mirror: optic coupler

Current Requirements:
- high power source (engineering)
- laser medium (someone to gather Chloride gas, toxins to form)
- differently reflective mirror (who is responsible for these?)
