In the original design, the front part of the prototype geometry consisted of five horizontal layers and four vertical layers, with Layer 1 being horizontal. However, the detector setup has five vertical and four horizontal layers and starts with Layer 1 being vertical.
For the GDML perspective, this means we need to change
The number of horizontal & vertical bars
The position of the first layer for front/back horizontal/vertical layers
The ordering of the layers (with Layer 1 being vertical)
The CopyNumbers to match the new layering scheme (Horizontal layers should have even numbers and vertical layers should have odd)

Possibly other things!
