Reconnect needed #83

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login
2. Chat for a while
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to stay connected. Disconnected with message "Reconnect needed."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
libsteam 1.4. Linux TERMINAL-BMRF-9 3.14.14-gentoo #1 SMP Fri Aug 1 11:21:21 
EDT 2014 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

At least, I think it's libsteam 1.4. I checked out the latest SVN on 08-11-2014.

That's pretty normal when the Steam servers go down to need a reconnect.  Has 
it been stable for the last day or so?

They haven't been going down. My friends are saying "Why do you keep 
disconnecting?", so the servers must still be up.

I haven't been using it, I've been using the web interface. It does this at 
least once per day. I can go back to trying it though.

I can also add that I am receiving the same issue. Reconnected needed every 3-5 
min or so.

According to issue #88 turning on the 'Always use HTTPS' option in the Advanced 
tab of the account settings can help.

Can you lot give it a whirl to see if that helps you also?
