Paste in context menu greyed out #2

I have an image in my clipboard which I obtained by right clicking on my GitHub avatar and choosing Copy Image. But when I right click in the input box on a chat tab the Paste context menu item is still greyed out.

Good catch! I've only ever been testing with Ctrl+V

Edit: it sometimes shows ungreyed if there's also text in the pastebuffer, which sometimes happens when copying an image, depending on the program it's coming from, but I'll see if I can make it more reliable

Ctrl+V is not even working here for me. It's as if the plugin is not even installed, but clearly it is:
