Failed to find Pidgin installation #146

On multiple computers, I update Pidgin to version 2.12.0 successfully. I then attempt to install Purple Hangouts after successfully installing it and running it on 2 PC's I'm getting error

Failed to Find Pidgin Installation

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pidgin v 2.12.0 as well as uninstalling it and installing v2.10.10 then update to the current version with the same results.

I have attempted to install it as admin

I have force stopped the Pidgin application in task manager and attempted to install Purple Hangouts with the same results.

Failed to Find Pidgin Installation

The other 2 PC's installed Purple Hangouts and I was successfully able to authenticate.

If the installer isn't detecting Pidgin then you can install the dll's manually. If you copy libhangouts.dll to your \Program Files (x86)\Pidgin\plugins folder and libprotobuf-c-1.dll & libjson-glib-1.0.dll to \Program Files (x86)\Pidgin\ (not the plugins subfolder)
