What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set language of buddy to Spanish
2. Try to send message to that buddy in Spanish or English.
3. Pidgin crashes.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Don't quite know what the expected output is, I was trying to
find a way to not translate for those buddies who know Spanish. What I see is a
crash.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP. Pidgin 2.6.4.

Maybe I'm doing things wrong. I have some buddies I talk to in Spanish, whereas
with most others I handle in English. I don't want the Spanish buddies
messages nor mine to them translated. I figured one could choose a "don't
translate" option when one right clicks on the buddy, but I couldn't find it.
So I chose "Spanish" as their langauges figuring that would not translate. But
when I try to send them a message, Pidgin crashes, even if I write in English.
