Okay this is a strange issue, I'm using Sonar (which is an accessible Manjaro for the blind and disabled), which comes with the plugin as part of the packages on the ISO but it's an older version. Installed the system, let it update and went to log on in....failed getting skype token.
Here's the bizarre thing. I have the exat same settings on a laptop with a different Linux distro (Solus), same Pidgin version, same network, same Pidgin version, same account and....the laptop works perfectly but I can't, for whatever reason connect via the Pidgin client in Sonar/Manjaro (they are effectiely the same thing).
I can log into Skype web perfectly fine on a browser, any browser, I've even ticked the keep me signed in box. Yet Pidgin refuses to play along on Manjaro. Is it a distro specific issue, or do I have to dive into the settings and play around with it?
FWIW I'm running the Orca screenreader here for testing how easy things are to use and so far this plugin is simple and easy to set up.
