Hi @NaiveInvestigator
Thank you for the kind words =)
Copy a url or path and try the following syntax in terminal and see if you get an output.
xclip -selection clipboard -o
If there is an output, then probably your mpv installation is unable to reach the path where xclip is installed.
o h, it seems it that xclip doesn't actually work for me. I didn't know this because im new sorry.
$ xclip -selection clipboard -o
xclip: Error: There is no owner for the CLIPBOARD selection
no wonder it gave that error oof
Edit: apparently xclip
doesn't work for wayland,
Edit - 2 : Read through this issue and now it works!! #8
TYSM so much for the help, Really really appreciate it!! Please do have a pleasant day/night.
Thank you again for helping me really! (too many but can't help it) Feels good after its working after so long lol. :>
I've been using your script for the past year or two and it was been working flawlessly! A must have for me and has made using mpv so much enjoyable! Just wanted to thank you lol for making this lovely script.
Now I've recently just switched from windows to linux. and tried installing the script but I try to it says "Paste of this item is unsupported possibly due to configuration". So I deleted the .conf of this script so that it can use the default values but yet it gives me this error.
I'm not quite sure what to do. I've tried reading through the .conf file and to see maybe I missed something but I couldn't find any. Also I do have xclip installed so no issues there.
Thank you for taking your time to read through this.
