On the 'Syllables' page of http://www.impallari.com/testing/index-devanagari.php#syllables I find some matras are incorrectly displayed on Mac Chrome and Firefox:

@davelab6 FWIW Pretty much all Devanagari fonts I've tested fails in some of those (edge?) cases. Of all the Devanagari fonts, the only one I've seen to pass ALL tests is Mihail Bayaryn's Siddhanta. http://svayambhava.blogspot.com.ar/p/siddhanta-devanagariunicode-open-type.html It's free but not yet SIL :)

Some of the combinations are impossible. So they never occur in text.

We can adjust Pablo's test page to separate out the possible ones from the impossible :)

It is difficult/impossible to separate the impossible combinations because Devanagari is used in many languages/contexts. The test cases which I have sent to Pablo have even more combinations than the current case, and obviously some of them are impossible, its hard to pull them out.

We use the computationally generated test cases as a guideline and intuitively know what is possible and what is not.
