Same problem with android 2.3.5 on Samsung galaxy Y.

Seems as the keyboard goes inactive after the connection is established -
connection is successful, one can even paste text from clipboard on the remote
terminal, but typing does not work. Even changing case of letters does not work
on keyboard.

I am using Linux.

I have the same problem on HTC One (currently Android 4.4, but was the same on
older versions). The app connects to SSH server, but only Enter key works
(virtual keyboard) - alphanumeric keys don't go into the terminal - only
vibrate.

As a workaround, I do "Force Size" operation, and then zoom back in to larger
font using volume keys - that makes the keyboard work for me.

The problem happens only with password authentication. When you use private key
auth, keyboard works fine right away.

HTC One, Android 4.4.3, same issue.
Workaround of Zoom in and out with sound keys doesn't work.
Workaround that works for me is changing the Characterset from UTF-8 to
something else and go back to UTF-8.
