Tested this, loaded correctly (with some missing links to assets, probably dataset related). Good enough for me, approving

What about that? How can we bring those missing assets?

I think it has to do with nucleus. I can give it a shot later

Restart nucleus, collect the USD, open it, save it flattened. That should do the trick

Done and pushed. Is that "saved as flattened" a new feature? I remember not having that option

It's always been there, not always works as expected. Have you tried turning Nucleus off and testing the USD again to check it has no other reference?

Turning off nucleus brings problems with the textures, everything's red now. The textures are still pointing to the nucleus path, so that's the problem. I'll see what I can do

I was able to download the materials and not depend on nucleus. I'm not convinced though on this approach, assets and materials take up a lot of space

Mjm, indeed it adds a lot of MBs to the repository. It might be ok though to have this this way for educational purposes: You directly have access to materials, etc. Besides you don't have to deal with nucleus service working correctly.

I will refer the decision to @BarceloChristian
