Can not uninstall this mod. Leaves artifacts in gamespace. #65

I tried using this mod for a few days, but it is pretty much non-usable, non-playable due to so many glaring bugs and unexpected behavior.

Now I have tried to disable this mod (both the Animalia and Creatura mods) and it has left "artifacts" in the game in creative mode. There are grey flat squares with question marks in them where all the animals used to be, and they are still moving around and behaving like the animals.

Then I tried uninstalling the mod, and the artifacts are still visible all over my game space. WTF?????

If the dev/s aren't going to maintain or fix this buggy non-functional mod, then it really should be removed from the online content page and in-game mods list.

In the meantime I'd really like to know how to fully uninstall this mod and remove all of these annoying animal artifacts from my game.

Thanks.

I have the same effect for any mod that add creatures. You start the game, the creatures from the mod spawn.

If later you remove the mod, all the creatures from the mod will still be there, but with question marks visuals.

It's not the mod fault, it's the way the game handle these things.

I use the console to clean them:

/clearobjects [full|quick]—Clears objects/entities (removes dropped [items](https://wiki.minetest.net/Items), [mobs](https://wiki.minetest.net/Mobs) and possibly more) on the server. In “quick” mode (default), objects in loaded mapblocks are removed immediately, while other objects are removed when the mapblock they're in is loaded. In “full” mode, all objects are cleared. Quick mode is very fast, but the full mode may slow down the server to a crawl for 10 to more than 60 seconds or even freeze it.

(I only had to use the quick param, didn't try the full param, but should work also)

Not sure if it's the right / official way to do it, but it worked for me.
