I haven't used Draconis in a few months, when I started a new game, I was surprised to see several dragons spawn around me basically everywhere I went, this is waay more than were there previously...

Minetest 5.8.0 latest contentdb versions of: Minetest Game Creatura Draconis

I even tried using a completely new Minetest install, thinking maybe I had changed some setting messing stuff up...that didn't help any.

maybe this can be fixed by publishing to contentdb? it looks like you changed the spawn rate in https://github.com/ElCeejo/draconis/commit/e00ac58078346a804d13f68cb33f247907e88744
