This is effectively done, but there's plenty of room for more tinkering:
There are a couple of TODOs in the config, where more stack controllers/upgraded cores could be added. They're not really necessary additions, though. A 5m version of the stack controller is probably overkill considering the 5m tanks are so late on. Also, it may be worth trying to move the larger stack controllers further back in the tech tree, if only for appearance's sake. Currently they're all unlocked at the beginning.
I do keep wondering about increasing the kOS disk sizes even further.
The game does seem to be missing quite a few combinations of parts for converting between different stack sizes e.g. a 1.25 to 1.875m version of the Rockomax 2 adaptor. Yes, there are some big adaptors with fuel, but it'd be nice to have some smaller ones e.g. for mounting a small probe on a big rocket.
The disk space restrictions provided with kOS are getting more awkward as the scripts get bigger and more capable. Increasing them would be lovely.
Rather than piling weird amounts of extra parts onto command pods, it would be nice if there were integrated versions of the command pods that contain extra batteries, a probe core (with SAS) and a kOS processor.
Similarly, it'd be handy to integrate kOS into probe core parts.
Finally, for controlling launchers separately from the payload, it'd be helpful to provided inline cores/kOS processors. There are 1.25m and 2.5m parts already, but these are at the end of the tech tree. Something available sooner, but heavier/bulkier/less capable would be handy. We could base parts on the kOS inline processors or the reaction wheel modules.
All of this can be done through Module Manager config.
