It would be nice to have a PHP package that includes links to download sites of modern browsers for the users operating system together with logos.
And JavaScript that could be used as an alternative to user-agent sniffing and respects the configuration from this bundle...
Have a look at browser-update.org especially browser-update/browser-update/issues/191 for more improvement ideas!
Please keep this issue open for a while.
