Is Trump the next Amlici? | GabrielStaples.com home

He’s powerful. He’s strong. He’s assertive. And he’s not afraid to undermine the rights of voters in the free democratic election process to take away peoples’ freedoms and get his way…just like Amlici of old.

Trump says on 5 Nov. on Twitter:

STOP THE COUNT!

Yep! Sounds like an anti-democracy Amlici to me! I don't support those who support evil. Trump supports evil. He doesn't believe in a free election process.

Update: contrast this to Joe Biden's tweet from just minutes ago:

Democracy is sometimes messy, so sometimes it requires a little patience.

But that patience has been rewarded now for more than 240 years with a system of governance that has been the envy of the world.

That's the kind of person I want to be our president!

I watched 30 minutes of Fox news last night, and 30 minutes of ABC news last night, because I wanted to see what others, especially those who support Trump, may be seeing. They were such different stories--I mean--tremendously different. Fox news is siding with Trump and telling a completely different story: they are reiterating Trumps claims and implying that the Democrats are using fraudulent voting. ABC, however, is looking at the facts and pointing out how Trump is literally putting democracy itself is in question here, and mail-in voting isn't de facto fraudulent. The problem here is that Trump has been priming and prepping his followers for many months to believe that mail-in voting is fraudulent, so that if he were to lose, he has a loyal group of followers who will believe him when he claims he lost due to fraud. This is deceit. Trump is using cunning, deceit, and manipulation to sucker people in to follow him regardless if he wins. If all someone is watching is Fox news, please, check on some other sources too. What Fox is saying in comparison is such a different story it's mind-boggling. Trump is manipulative. And Fox is regurgitating what he says.

I grew up on Fox. I didn't know any different. But, it's not telling the truth. It's picking a side. As I've lived all over the nation and now in the San Francisco Bay area, one of the biggest questions I get from my conservative family and friends is: "how can you stand living among such [awful--either implied through tone or stated outright] Liberal Californian Democrats!?" And, in my mind: I think: "what awful liberal Democrats--what are they talking about!?"--because I can't think of any awful liberal California Democrats I know. They are just people, trying to do right to other people. It's not so black and white as Fox news, one's parents, and fellow Idaho or other West or Midwest conservatives would have a conservative believe. Evil is evil and good is good, but one side isn't pure good and the other side pure evil. It is not so separative and distinctive like this. Foreign governments, and Satan himself want liberals and conservatives to hate each other and label the other side evil. But, God does not want this. God wants evil labelled as evil and good labelled as good, and there's some of each on both sides. God has people on both sides. Trump, however, is not on God's side, in my observation, and he's spreading lies and deceit, and Fox repeats it. Take 30 minutes, like I did by watching Fox, and watch another news sources, like ABC. Here is a chart showing how people perceive news sources:

Fox is very strongly skewed to the conservative side, and is literally just saying what Trump says because they've been spouting the rhetoric for years that Democrats are evil and Republicans are of God. I've even seen conservative propaganda videos claiming this: that Trump is divinely appointed of God.

Also, from what I can tell, many of Trump's supporters are so die-hard Trump fans that they would die for him--literally, fight, kill, and die for him. Trump is power hungry, and truth averse, and he uses division to polarize people so they will fight, kill, and die for him. He is dangerous. His teachings are dangerous. His example is dangerous. His tweets are dangerous.

Thankfully, I know from being in the military that enlisted men and women pledge their allegiance to the US Constitution, to the President, and to officers appointed over them (see here), but officers pledge their allegiance only to the US Constitution, and NOT to the president (see here), because the day may come when they have to choose to ignore or even fight against the president of the US, rather than carry out his or her evils acts. Trump's actions over his term have brought us several steps closer to officers having to really choose to support and defend the Constitution, despite and instead of the President.

The US Air Force Oath of Enlistment (for enlisted members)

“I [state your full name], Do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God (optional).”

The US Air Force Oath of Office (for officers) (emphasis added)

“I [state your full name], having been appointed a (rank) in the United States Air Force, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter. So help me God (optional).”

The things that Trump says, that his supporters agree with, are absolutely insane. Take a look at this from his first election, posted Oct. 20, 2016:
