Yes, it can type and move the mouse, from what I've heard from customers, but no, it cannot read Caps Lock and Scroll Lock key presses from the Mac. This means it is not reprogrammable/reconfigurable from a Mac. The work-around is to program it on a Windows computer, pressing Scroll Lock 5 times when done to make it save its settings internally. Then, when you move it over to the Mac it will retain its settings you programmed in the Windows Computer, and do whatever you told it to do.
