Cooks any food in 5-10 seconds Takes at least 1 kW Plugs into power socket 200v only

I suppose we could discriminate food from other items...

This still seems a bit gratuitous.

I like the idea of a microwave oven. That would finally justify a decent explosion if you put some metal into... ;-)

Thers's Mr. Crayfish's Furniture Mod, but that doesn't run on electricity. Also, you have to manually add the recipes in the configure file, but I haven't figured out how to do that. Yet.

How does NEI Sorts food items out? It has no problems with any item, even mod ones. Maybe ELN can do the same thing?

It should be possible to check if the item is edible. Cooking for Blockheads has a similar block, so that's another possible source. (https://github.com/blay09/CookingForBlockheads)
