timeline: fast actions after switching date #1267

Describe the Bug

No response

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Switch to another date.
  2. Immediately plant a plant (within about one second)

Expected Result

Important: The date should get switched.

Maybe: Map editor gets blocked and mouse cursor is a spinner.

Actual Result

  1. Date gets switched back to previous date
  2. Plant gets planted with old date
