This would be a convenient feature in Windows Explorer.

Hi!. I am very sorry for the delay in offering a response, but I have had this project quite forgotten and abandoned.

Responding to your question, I think of two ways to accomplish it, one would be with the registration of a shell-extension, and the second would be simply manipulating the required registry keys.

The time required to develop a shell extension just to perform a single file-type association may not be worth it for me, then, and at least for now, a new option will be added in the program settings to associate the .lnk file extension with Easy Link File Viewer by adding the required registry keys to create the context menu option that you have proposed when right-clicking a .lnk file.

Please note this may take me some time (from few days, to weeks) as there are several other Issues in this project that I also need to offer solutions to. Please be patient.

The new feature has already been implemented in the new source code update. See change log of v1.5.

Please wait for the new release with these changes to be published.
