An .sdat file corruption issue #62

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Save the .sdat more than once. Or import a .wav file onto an .strm or .swav
for the second time.
2. Save the ROM.
3. Play it on an emulator.

What is the expected output? What do you see (or hear) instead?
While playing, sounds will either be glitched up or won't play at all, except
for the one you've imported.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version: Tinke rev141
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Please provide any additional information below.
On this version, please make sure you don't save the .sdat more than once or
import another .wav file after you've imported one already for another .swav or
.strm. As the second time you import a .wav to an .strm, it will list the block
size as 512 instead of the size required for the .wav to fit.

Importing doesn't work for SWAV files. The SWAV becomes corrupt, resulting in
so sound in SM64DS and an eventual freeze. I replaced a sound with a WAV and
saved in 16-bit PCM format. Should another format be used? Running Tinke 0.9a.
