"ElementalCode does not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements." We might have viruses!?!
Or do you mean the projects?
Nuuuuu! I'm quitting if I get viruxes xP
"No. Just no. This is a bad idea on so many levels. A good license will do everything you need. And copying licenses / terms of services, is still copying... putting you in more legal trouble than you started in.
(Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer. This is not legal advice. Consult a lawyer if you're serious about this.)"
The Service encapsulate everything shared. To be honest, it's just to cover out butts.
And bobbybee, I'm not sure if you realize - licenses are quite different than Terms.
I think the / means both of them.
Um you can't copy a license... so I have no idea what he/she means by "copying a license" xD Also, Terms have tendencies to be extremely similar (I searched for the exact phrase multiple times and found the phrases in quite a few places, so it's either that everyone copies from everyone or it's standard legal stuff)
Sure you can, like this:

Lol xD
facepalm
Just change the name to an-OK-squirrel
and it's all yours xD
YES! Time to steal Google xD
muahaha
Scrap this, steal AdMob and make millions! xD
Haha, yeah. Seriously, anything else? Since most of us (if not all) are minors, though, I don't think we can get in too much trouble.
That's the spirit!
That's why I'm not writing this. If I'm still doing this when I turn 18.... Plus, I've never revealed my adress/realname anywhere ever, so I'm safe.
I thought you were Nancy E. Sanchez, 5'5" and 43 xD https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/136140/?page=1#post-1242778
xD
Now we could get in trouble if we used her name for the copyright xd
Should we have projects uploaded under a license? (probably same license as Scratch)
@Firedrake979 Ok, just wanted to make sure. I think it will work fine. (DISCLAIMER: I am not a lawyer, and can not give legal advice (gosh we know already)) Oh, and whenever you say "cover our butts", I keep seeing the first scene in the Lego movie where vivtrivius (?) tells the guards " He's coming. Cover your butts" LOL
I'll see if I can add something saying that all projects are uploaded under the CC license and that any content they upload they acknowledge that they have the legal right to use.
Yep!
I have to go too.
@an-OK-squirrel Sounds like you need to pee.
Anyway, I have to go as well.
everyone needs to pee!
To do what?
LOL
do you need to go too?
Everyone needs to pee? Remix time!
uh oh
I have reasons about deletions - please don't question them right now
What deletions?
nothing
OK...
Closing for now
I'm thinking we copy most of what another site has, because I don't want to call a lawyer to review hand-written ToS (though we probably should after modifying whatever ToS we use)
