Thanks so much for these awesome ideas. I'm currently working on a baubles/curios addon to Elenai Dodge 2 and am in dire need of inspiration, and you've just given me a truckload.
I think these would work really well as modifiers given by rings/amulets, what do you think?

oh, glad you finally got to looking at these. absolutely. thats what I hoped they'd be good as. Either dodge modifying enchants or rings/charms/amulets etc. there was also a line I dropped in your discord in the developers channel. about a hookshot thing I wish someone could make. which could also fold into that perhaps.

Would you consider making something like, "Elenai hookshots"? perhaps folding it into the mobility mod or the curio based mod as craftable mobility pieces?
Basically something you can shoot at a location and have it automatically reel you in towards the location with varying levels of tension and physics. Much like the hooked mod in 1.12.2. But when coupled with your mods there'd be the capacity for them to maybe auto disconnect when dodging for maximum mobility shenaniganery, or have other effects, like say a hook that can attach to enemies and dodging while it's attached would swap your places, or you attach it and then dodge to recall yourself to it's attachment point? really cool things like that.
Hey Elenai, figured I'd drop by some suggestions and stuff!
I'm mostly throwing around situational modifiers and cool abilities to add to dodges that could trigger under certain circumstances. Stuff like:
Directional Air Dash: Air Dash now dashes in the ray traced facing direction and doesn't impart vertical force (just force in the pointed direction.) Enchant to the boots, or cute little wing charm or something you put on.
Gravity Cancel: using dash input without a direction while in midair places a phantom block under the player for up to 3 seconds and cancels fall damage. Ability from the gameplay mechanic of the same name in Brawlhalla. Enchant related, or maybe weight related?
Shield Barge: Blocking during a dash makes you impact the first foe and bash them hard with your i-frames causing damage and stunning. Stun could be a malus that stops their dodges shortly or adds a hefty slow after a knockback. Detected shield based item related.
Ground slam: holding rightclick while dashing in midair and looking lower than eye height with a weapon dashes the player towards the focused position creating a small blast on impact dealing their weapon damage to those hit. Warframe based directional ground pound. Weight related, or weapon enchantment related or specified configurable weapon based related.
Safety Roll: After a dash continue to hold the dash key before hitting the ground from a high height (fall damage being taken which isn't already nullified by other sources) to create a puff of smoke on impact that halves fall damage and converts whats left into wing meter damage before health damage taken. Natural effect? part of your apparent mobility expansion maybe? ;)
Phantom Thief Dash: Dashing into a solid surface sticks you to the surface and allows you to freely look around for up to 5 seconds. Forward dashing additional times teleports you to a ray traced surface up to 8 blocks away and attached you to that surface refreshing the timer as many times as you can before you're out of meter. Equivalent to an air dash in cost but a lot more precise and stylish. I-frames in travel and for 1-2 seconds on stick. Persona 5 mask as a curio, or enchantment for head? ;) Alt by itself without direction could disengage the dash combo chain or dash direction other than forward could probably stop the chain if you didn't wait to keep going.
