scope on 2 ubuntu's machine #150

hello there...sun but cold in paris !! (i'm sorry ...i ' posted this on a closed issue...!!)..

about "xdisplay.c" i got the right files without while (XNextEvent(display, &evt) == 0) sequence (line 115-119 )on two different bionic beaver machines..(ubuntu) one's got the 1.1.5 multimon-ng , the other 1.1.8...

scope is ok on the 1.1.5 one, not on the other !! (invalid mode "scope") :( ... any suggestion masters ??

Did you manually compile it? I assume some X11 dependencies were missing, likely the development package. (libx11-dev)

I have a similar issue on Manjaro Linux 21. After 1.1.9 update, scope does not work anymore... I get (invalid mode "scope") as well. It works fine when I downgrade to 1.1.8...
